R-help would be interested in the answer; so once you receive an
answer, please post it (or a link to a public URL with it) here
on R-help, thank you in advance.
We would like to be able to *save*, or sometimes *set* / *reset*
such options "in a scripted manner", e.g. for
controlled exam sessions.
