Yes. RGtk2 is only interface support for GTK

You need to share details regarding your OS (also requested in the PG)
and the version of your GTK2.
At least in the MacOS world there are specifics about the GTK2+
versions that are critical to success with rattle(). There is a binary
version of GTK 2.18.? that is known to work, since there were repeated
problems wtih user attmpts ot compile from source.
