Hi, I have problem to read hdf4 files in R, I would be very grateful if somebody can tell me how to deal with hdf4 files. I can read hdf5 using "hdf5" and "h5r" packages, but these packages does not work for hdf4 files. I was trying to open some MODIS data files those are in hdf4 format.
