Hi, I've been using R for a number of years and have always installed the newest version when released. However I've just noticed that old versions of R are taking up quite a lot of disk space.
lap-alastair:/ alastair$ du -h -d 1 /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/ 266M /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.10 204M /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.11 459M /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.12 511M /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.13 478M /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.14 217M /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.15 32K /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.5 5.5M /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.6 84M /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.8 2.2G /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/ Do I need to keep any of the versions before the current (2.15). If I delete all the previous versions will that have any impact on the current installation, or is each version entirely self-contained?
