*Target audience*
This course is for data analyst who are familiar with classical statistics
and they want to get a working knowledge in Bayesian analysis. This is a 3 days
intensive training course with 8 hours per day including lecturing and 
exercises.
The course presentation is practical with many worked examples.
Lectures are given in English. Discussions can be in English, German or Spanish.

* Introduction to Bayesian inference
* Introduction to Bayesian statistics with R
* Simple Bayesian statistical models.
* Introduction to WinBUGS
* MCMC computations

Day 2
* The role of prior distributions in Bayesian inference
* Bayesian analysis of multi-parameter models
* Bayesian analysis of the linear statistical model
* Bayesian analysis of non-linear models
* Bayesian analysis of the Generalized Linear Model

Day 3
* Statistical modeling issues
* Introduction to Hierarchical Modeling
* Examples in hierarchical modeling
* Own projects

Costs:
Public sector and commercial: 1088,85 Euro (three days course, incl full board
and VAT) additionally acommodation (on demand) 63,13 Euro shared double room
per night (incl. VAT) or 138,03  single room per night (inc. VAT).

Student: 
870 Euro (three days course - incl full board, shared double room 
[single romm on demand] and VAT). Some of the courses are frequently fully 
booked. So please notice that you may have to try several times, until you
get a spare place.
