Dear Gabriel,

it is possible. You can define a new class or just an object of an already existing class.

Did you look at:
library(distr)
vignette("newDistributions")

as well as
?AbscontDistribution
?DiscreteDistribution

Please let me know if you have further questions!

Best
Matthias

Hi all
I am using the Package "distr" (and related)

Do you know if it is possible to define your own distribution (object)
GIVEN that you have an analytical form of the probability density
function (pdf) ?

I would then like to use the standard feature of the "distr" and related
packages.

Best regards

Giuseppe Gabriel Cardi
