Under "Edit... Text Options... Languages" there are several that are "close
enough" to provide usefulness in R. Options like "Ruby", "Python", "C++",
etc all help with colorizing in rule-based ways, and making sure quotes
match, and every "(" has a ")", etc.

Just visual aids-- I'm sure one could pass selected text to R using the
scripting features, but I've never bothered to study that.
