I have installed GNU libiconv-1.13.1 without success. I have also installed
gettext-0.17 per iconv installation instructions. Still no success and I feel
I currently heading down the wrong path. Can anyone help?
Take a look at config.log: it should help -- perhaps the library is
not being found and needs to be put in the ld.so cache, or something
like that.
As far as we know you do need GMU libiconv on all the commercial
Unixen (Solaris, AIX, IRIX), but I am not sure anyone has reported on
HP-UX recently.
Thanks,
