I am using Windows XP and "R version 2.2.0, 2005-09-03"
and am getting the following message when I try to install or check a package using Rcmd check or Rcmd install: Error in get(x, envir, mode, inherits) : variable "win.packages.html" was not fo und It seems to be looking for the indicated file but can't find it. I have not seen this message before. I am not sure if its related to 2.2.0 or something else. Can anyone suggest how to proceed?
