Dear all, We have submitted a contribution for the use cases for QUIC with multipath extension.
There were still discussion and confusion regarding why QUIC with mutipath extension is needed. So we believe it is useful to include mutipath QUIC use cases and related content in the mutipath QUIC draft. Besides, multipath QUIC can also be utilized in 5GS to achieve redundant transmission for applications such as live video streaming, ensuring the reliability and QoE, etc. So this contribution explicitly describe typical use cases for QUIC with multipath extension and it can also help QUIC with multipath extension to be adopted in different scenarios and other SDOs, for example, in 5G SA2 ATSSS normative work. We would like to present this contribution in the upcoming IETF meeting in Nov and seek for merging this contribution to QUIC with multipath extension draft if everybody agree.
