I'm a little reluctant to apply this to core, as this is really
something that the Tumbleweed folks should fix on their side.  Also,
this patch is only for Prefork, and it likely applies to every mode.

I'm not opposed to the concept, but would like to see it cleaned up,
and maybe factored into a subroutine to make it more understandable.
