I split your patch into two -- one for the makefile and the second
for the .spec changes. I don't entirely understand the latter -- it
seems you changed more than what the log message said, so I put those
on a 'rpm/xinetd' branch for now.
Good point. IIRC, the first change in qpsmtpd.spec.in was to allow the
version, release, and name to be passed in via the rpm command line when
building the SRPM. The second was to add some missing dependencies when
building from the SRPM on CentOS 5. The rest were to split out the
xinetd files into another RPM.
