Regarding that, I have a gearman setup at $work which works really
well for running slow stuff (like SA) asynchronously.
It's pretty much geared to my stuff right now, but I'd be happy to
share the guts of it with anyone off-list. But I might balk at
explaining gearmand to you - so make sure you understand that first.
