I would like to add tls encryption support to my server to allow STARTTLS connections, as well as CRAM-MD5 and AUTH-LOGIN. I am at the prelimnary stage of finding out if this is possible. I currently have qpsmtpd-forkserver installed, in which mail is then forwarded onto qmail.
The plugin that I am interested in is auth_smtpd (avaliable from . Which uses the SMTP:TLS CPAN module, but am unsure once forwarded onto qmail from qpmstpd-forkserver if I then would need an additional plugin to allow tls communication internally within the server?
