I came across a selection of different apt-rpm packages in different repos, 
but this is the one I'm using very happily with CentOS:
http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el4/en/i386/RPMS.dag/apt-0.5.15lorg3.2-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm

Don't know if there's an SME repo but the CentOS one is built into the 
package.

I'd suggest to steer clear of apt 0.6 unless you're keen to spend a lot of 
time sorting out and trusting repository keys (says a person who's had to 
do that for varying third party repos, including his internal one, on 
several Debian and Ubuntu machines!)
