85% of our 15,000/day are spam and 15% are legit
of the spam, 85% is rejected before 'data'
I used to run an RBL, and do not trust them. Where I might
otherwise do a lot of things if it was just me, the requirements frown on
false positives, and those lists are not to be used.
In any case, it sounds as if my current system should be more than
capable of handling 10,000 users and 150,000-200,000 connections per day,
with similar ratios.
Now I just have to try to make time to build the new systems, if
we go ahead.
