Should I just take the opportunity of the migration to SVN to just check this stuff in and we'll meld it into shape over the next few weeks,
I vote you just check it in to trunk. I've got my personal mirror, so I can keep my production copies going until I switch over to the higher performance model. And I will be interested in switching ASAP, since I am running my inbound MX's on fairly anemic machines, so anything will help.
It also merges all the different scripts into one server script, which auto-detects INETd/TcpServer mode by looking for ENV{REMOTE_HOST}, and takes a flag to switch to forkserver mode.
I run my copies out of djb-style env/ directories, so as long as all of the same command line parameters as forkserver are accepted, I'm happy.
