In this case, it won't do any good at all. I mean, what we're talking
about here is a) setting up qmail (like, make setup check), b)
configure the system (see INSTALL and its friends), and c) set up
_some_thing to run qmail.

I beg to differ. OpenBSD is quite fine (DJB himself certainly does not
use it for no good reason, eh?) and it has everything you need as
ports and packages. But realistically,
