The qmail-ldap patch contains support for a control/custombouncetext.
$ cat custombouncetext
This is a test, your message bounced.

This will produce bounces like so:

The patched file is qmail-send.c. I suppose you could pull the code from
there, even if you don't use the rest of the ldap stuff.
