mutt.org has links to a few good .muttrc files.  However, the info you're
looking for (I had trouble finding it myself at one point) is probably
the "spoolfile" variable:

    set mbox="~/Mail/inbox/"
    set mbox_type="Maildir"
    set spoolfile="~/Mail/inbox/"
