Okay, yesterday I erroneously reported that I had maildrop and vmailmgr running together, when it was really maildrop and *vpopmail*. Well, this morning I converted our mail domain from vpopmail to vmailmgr and copied my maildrop config over, changing a few paths. Works like a charm. So my previous, unsubstantiated report that maildrop works just fine with vmailmgr is now substantiated. I'd highly recommend using it instead of procmail, as it's far more intuitive and easy to configure (IMO).
