Looks OK to me, although we use tcpserver here and I've never tried to use
qpop3d from inetd.

What are the perms on the homedir itself, and what about the
subdirectories of Maildir?

Why have a .qmail file? Or do you not have Maildir as your default
delivery mechanism?
