Actually, I would recommend you to start using the latest daemontools
as soon as you can. The multilog is better than cyclog. If you have
sometime, I recommend you to review the web pages at
http://cr.yp.to/daemontools.html
The documentation is pretty good.
I have also found the tai64 format is just as easy to use as well.
The log rotation control using multilog script is pretty easy too.
The documentation is very clear.
