Well, webserver is on leased line which was never down since I used it. And
it was working when I was testing this, since I needed ssh in order to
connect to the server (server's housed offsite). A firewall isn't installed.
I'm not 100% sure, if all foreign domains' SMTP ports were working at that
moment, but to atleast one of the tested nonlocal domains, I could send
mails at the moment I was testing (using the same smtp server as now), so
it's surely not the fault of the other ISPs (one of the tryed site is
operated by swiss market leader, other site is leading freeemail service in
German-language countries...). /var/log/current shows the following
errormessage:
delivery 100: deferral:
Sorry,_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(#4.4.1)/
(not sure if the trailing slash wasn't created while I did copy n paste, but
I don't this matters much). Is there a list which explains the error codes?
