Well, others have mentioned problems with that patch even though I use it
in my rpms.  I think the problem is with the line

      if [ "x$x_header" = "xyes" ] && [ "x${formail}" != "x" ] && [ -x
${formail} ] ; then

IIRC, that should be all one line even though it's probably copied as two
if you just copy-n-pasted from the archive webpage.
