Use the following command:

        man maildir
        
and read the maildir manpage.

If 'man maildir' doesn't work, add /var/qmail/man to your MANPATH in
/etc/profile:

export MANPATH="/usr/man:/usr/X11R6/man:/usr/local/man:/opt/man:/var/qmail/man"
