ok.. after reading the suggestion to install the old daemontools, I seem to have Qmail working when I go to the init.d directory and type ./qmail start I can't start qmail with just "qmail start".. what do I need to do to fix that? Though, it really isn't that important because qmail starts when I reboot.. but i'd like to know why I need the ./ before the executable. Thanks again for all the help! Now on to figuring out the virtual email part. james
