This might sound silly, but the line: tcpserver -x/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb -u1003 -g102 0 smtp /var/qmail/bin/qmail smtpd & takes action only if I run it after the system is booted and I logged in as root. The entry in /etc/rc.d/rc.local does not take effect for some reason. Has anyone encountered this problem before? How do I solve it?
