Alex's qmail-pop3d does listen to port 110.  It is accesible from his
local network, but not from the "outside".

His HOST in qmail-pop3d.init is 

HOST=$($QMAILHOME/bin/dnsfq $($QMAILHOME/bin/hostname))   

which gives r84aap011904.sbo-nwt.ma.cable.rcn.com.
