Host hiding

Hi Folks,

        I would like to use host masquerading on our mail server. I haved
followed the instructions in the faq thusly:

echo odel.on.ca > /var/qmail/control/defaulthost
     chmod 644 /var/qmail/control/defaulthost

My question is does this affect anything but qmail-inject? Does the
traffic on the smtp server get affected. I would like it to. I am using
qmail-smtpd via tcpserver. If not, is there a way to do this that I missed
somewhere. Thanks,
