Hello all,
I am running qmail with tcpserver, and want to know if there is
any way to make qmail respond faster to smtp/pop3d requests other than
going through a DNS lookup...As I do not currently run my own DNS and
get DNS through UUNET, would it be faster if I ran my own DNS for this,
or is there another way to accomplish this task...
It would seem to me that if LAN based clients (95/98/NT, etc)
should be able to inject mail into the linux box w/o a DNS check, but
in reading various material, I understand this is not possible in
qmail (or sendmail)...does anyone have some ideas on how this can
be accomplished...
