What does the /var/spool/qscan/qmail-queue.log file say? If it is happening for any email with "an attachment", then it implies Spamassassin is broken, if it's only "large" attachments that trigger this, then - as others have said - it's because SA isn't processing the message because it's too big (which is under your control to change) -- Cheers Jason Haar Information Security Manager, Trimble Navigation Ltd.
