Hi
Curently I have installed a mail server
utilising Clamav and Spamassasin using
qmailrocks
The server is working fine but I seem to have cropped against a problem
Every time I send out an email a SPAM Tag is
attached to just about every email. I have
tried modifying the qmail-scanner-queue file but
that just stops the server from functioning.
Not sure whether I would have to go through recreating the database or what
I would sincerely appreciate your help
Thanks in advance
Hi
Something in your spamassassin installation is
giving your emails a high score, for example, the
message you sent to the list has a score of 4.1
X-Antivirus-MYDOMAIN-Mail-From: i...@hamblin-group.com via
webserver.hamblin-group.net
X-Antivirus-MYDOMAIN: 1.25-st-qms (Clear:RC:0(217.207.243.194):SA:0(4.1/5.0):.
Processed in 0.227882 secs Process 6821)
Have a look at spamassassin logs (usually
/var/log/maillog) and try to figure out why you
always have very high scores.
You can also enable sa_alt and sa_debug, so you
will find the spamassassin report in
qmail-queue.log, that will help you to track the
issue.
And considerer upgrading to newest qmail-scanner
2.08, you will lose the qms statistics but there
a lot of new features in version 2.x
