Qmail-scanner-general, I just discovered that clamdscan is is still reported as version 0.88.7 in the mail headers, even though I have upgraded ClamAV repeatedly (currently at 0.93.1). I've verified that no other clamdscan executable exists on the system and still, after several days and several reboots, new mail headers still look like this (with some private parts obscured):
Received: from ww.xx.yy.zz by mail.??????????.com (envelope-from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, uid 508) with qmail-scanner-1.25-st-qms (clamdscan: 0.88.7/2429. spamassassin: 3.1.7. perlscan: 1.25-st-qms. Clear:RC:0(66.35.250.225):SA:0(-1.6/5.0):. Processed in 3.35492 secs); 18 Jun 2008 16:01:36 -0000 My original installation was done using a qmailrocks package and I've manually updated clamav every time logwatch reported a version change. I'm at a total loss to explain why the mail headers show an old version number of clamdscan. Can anyone help me to answer this?
