On a system running qmail-scanner 1.24 to run spamassassing before
forwarding mail to an internal server, I'm trying to add clamav virus
rejection (rather than quarantining by just rebuilding qmail-scanner to do
the clamdscan step) via spamcontrol's (2.3.17) QHPSI. I'm using
spamcontrol and clamav via QHPSI on other servers (without qmail-scanner)
without any trouble, but when mixed with qmail-scanner, I get the
following errors:
Wed, 30 Nov 2005 12:15:51 EST:15976: error_condition:
X-Qmail-Scanner-1.24: Unable to open pipe to /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
[55] (#4.3.0) -
Wed, 30 Nov 2005 12:15:51 EST:15968: error_condition:
X-Qmail-Scanner-1.24: Unable to close pipe to /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
[55] (#4.3.0) - Illegal seek
Are qmail-scanner and QHPSI capable of getting along?
The system in question is running Centos 3.5, and was setting
QHPSI='clamdscan',QHPSIARG1='--disable-summary',
QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl"
in tcp.smtp.
