Hi all, I'm using suse 10.0 as my mail server and havent seen much problem during installation, untill I try to install qmail-scanner (with qmail-scanner-25-st). I keept see errors like 451 qq temporary problem. I have change /usr/bin/suidperl to: 4711 -rwx--x--x 3 root root 1203220 Sep 9 22:08 /usr/bin/suidperl
Here's what happend whenever I try to install it. I dont know if it should be working or not, but I can see files in /var/spool/qmailscan and I can run " setuidgid qscand /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g ". Testing suid nature of /usr/bin/perl... Whoa - broken perl install found. Cannot even run a simple script setuid You will either have to correct this or use the C-wrapper within the ./contrib dir Error was: Can't do seteuid! See FAQ for further details Hit RETURN to continue, Ctr-C to exit and fix: Hit RETURN to create initial directory structure under /var/spool/qmailscan, and install qmail-scanner-queue.pl under /var/qmail/bin: perlscanner: generate new DB file from /var/spool/qmailscan/quarantine-attachments.txt perlscanner: total of 87 entries. Finished installation of initial directory structure for Qmail-Scanner under /var/spool/qmailscan and qmail-scanner-queue.pl under /var/qmail/bin.
