Hi all,

I'm new to SpamAssassin, qmail-scanner and Clamav.

I've successfully installed qmail from lifewithqmail.org, SpamAssassin 3.0.4, qmail-scanner 1.25 and Clamav anti virus on a SuSE 9.0 Professional box.

Today I've made an online update whereby I've patched the sudo packet. After this time, I got immediately the "qq temporary problem" message. This means that I wasnt able to send mails again. To solve that problem I've tested in /etc/qmail/tcp.smtp to comment out the calls to /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl.

The faq to qmail-scanner tells me under 4.3. to compile and install the c wrapper program because of some problems with perl suid. I've done that.

I think if I hadnt made the online update where sudo was patched for security reasons, the configuration would still work fine.

What do I have to do to get it running again?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Thomas
