Dear all,

I have a mailserver with about 60 (virtual) domains and use
Qmail-Scanner with several AV-tools an Spamassassin. I integrated the
SMTP-Auth patch to qmail so users can authenticate against the SMTP
server and then send their mail. The sending process takes long time
(5-10 sec) because of Spamassassin-checks.

For performance reasons I really would like to disable the
Spamassassin-checks when a authenticated user sends mail.

Is there any way I could disable SA (but still use the AV-tools) when a
user authenticates on the SMTP server?
That's weird. I'd expect a SMTP auth patch to basically set the RELAYCLIENT environment variable - as a way of allowing an authenticated user to relay. If it had done that, that would have flowed down into Qmail-Scanner and SA wouldn't have been called. i.e. it should just work.

You should talk to the author of the AUTH patch to see how to make that happen.
