If you permit me, i have a few questions about this.
I have two server runnin with qmail-scanner and sophos then will fine. It is the firt time i have this error.
You use sophos or only sophie? What you recomend to me?

I used sophos (sweep) when I started using QS on may 2002, but from the start of 2003, sweep needs a lot of resources from the box eating all the cpu and memory. So I installed Sophie that is a deamonized interface to the libsavi, it is almost 100 times faster than sweep and needs less resources as her has all the virus patterns load in memory. You still have to update the Sophos engine every 90 days and of course download the ide file (I do four times a day) frequently.
I download the ide file only from one server and the others get it from that server.
The stranger is, its work and a few hours don't work moore, it's fine because it's a new server and i don't have any count.
This is normal, sweep goes on to trouble when there too many concurrent process of sweep...
Those were the good news, the bad news are that Sophie doen't seem to be under development... so it could be incompatible with future versions of the libsavi (sophos library), but until then it is a very good choice.
