I have 2 MX records, server1 and server2. When mail hits server1 first, it gets tagged by SA fine. When it can't get to server1 for whatever reason, it goes to server2, which has an smtproute to forward it back to server1, but when it arrives at server1, it isn't tagged by SA. I assumed this was caused by server1 having server2 in it's tcp.smtp as an IP that's allowed to relay, but having removed that and run qmailctl cdb it still isn't working.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what's causing this? It's driving me mad as all the mail hitting the secondary MX first seems to be spam.
Both server are running qmail with q-s, but server2 is set to use qmail-queue not qmail-scanner-queue, so i doubt there's any way server1 thinks it's already been tagged...

Thanks for any help,
Kieran
