Hello--
Every day I have to look at my admin inbox where the qmail-scanner notifications get sent to.
As I use the st version, I also get a notif for each spam that's above the ham/spam threshold, but below the delete threshold.
Now what I would like to do, is scan just the 40 or so subject lines, and then mark the whole folder read, and dismiss the whole thing.
But after doing that recently, and then double-checking, I realized I had missed a false positive.
This is because nowadays the spammers have gotten much better at crafting subject lines, and the general public has not gotten much better at using precise subject lines.
In short, I cannot with certainty tell the difference between spam and ham, just by reading the subject line.
If I had the sender, though, I could.
So what I'm looking for is a way to change the subject line of notifications.
- customize "problem found in sent/received" message
- in message "[subject]" from "[sender]" in place of in message "[subject]" only.
How could I do this ?
Other problem, I always get "problem found in sent message" instead of received. Is there a way to fix this ?
I use getmail to retrieve mail via pop, then qmail-inject.
Thanks for your help,
--Sam
