I guess I have a flaw in my system configuration. The numbers from my logs doesn't make sense.

Total received mails on a recent given "low-volume-ham-day" was:

"from='.*<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>', subj='.*', via SMTP from ")

Hi

I don't think you will catch all the messages with this regex:

# grep -c "from='.*<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>', subj='.*', via SMTP from "
qmail-queue.log
5195

Try this one:

# grep -c "starting debugging for process" qmail-queue.log
6335

I tried that and found a much higher number. That was it. Sorry for not testing my regex better before posting. My bad was in believing that "from=" was the envelope sender rather than the From: header field, i.e. the formatting isn't necessarily <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
Thanks.

By the way, if you choose '--scanners-per-domain 0', the scannar array is '@scanners_installed'. And if you enable scanners_per_domain you will find that a message with multiple recipients will have a result for each recipient...

I only receive messages with one recipient per SMTP session as my Q-S server only accepts SMTP from my own SMTP servers which are running Qmail as well, i.e. one recipient per envelope, and one SMTP session per envelope.
