Hi All!
Long time, no see. Just had the urge to upgrade my "old" 1.20rc3 to
1.23. Found a few things

configure line 286 - the script always told me to creat a user/group
qscand, which I alread had.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] qmail-scanner-1.23]# id qscand; echo $?
uid=1012(qscand) gid=1012 groups=1012,2201(qscand)
1

As you see, the user is OK, but the id command returns 1, configure
checks for a 0. I'm on a red hat linux machine with kernel 2.4.20

Other things I noticed while upgrading:

The reformime path must be in your $PATH variable that it can be
found. you cannot specify it on the command line, but it get's saved
with the full path in the script

"cat SYSDEF" shows me the CURRENT qmail-scanner version not the one I
just configured (without using --install)

But these are all minor issues. This message should now already go
thru 1.23

Kind Regards
Leonard
