Qmail-scanner 1.22 with the SA patch doesn't seem to handle spamc/spamd from SpamAssassin 3.0.0 properly. When running SpamAssassin 3.0.0 I end up with messages like the following in my qmail-queue.log (qmail-scanner):
Mon, 27 Sep 2004 15:33:02 PDT:25321: SA: required_hits ? / sa_quarantine +0 / s\ a_delete +5 Mon, 27 Sep 2004 15:33:02 PDT:25321: SA: finished scan in 0.817542 secs - hits=\ ?
It appears that qmail-scanner isn't sure how to interpret the output from the new spamc; consequently messages that SpamAssassin has tagged as spam end up passing through qmail-scanner with "X-Spam-Status: No".
Does anyone know have a fix for this? =)

You might update to 1.23, and use sa_alt (sa_debug, sa_report...). It seems that there are some problems with the standard SA routine.
