Just to add a bit. I'm running SuSE 8.2

Hi everyone,
So I've got netqmail install with spamassassin and clamav. I've installed the qmail-scanner as per instructions. I run the test_install script and 3 messages make it through.
The first goes through normally. The third gets trapped by clamav, and the fourth gets flagged by spamassassin. The second one goes through free and clear, like the perlscanner module is not working. Clamav doesn't pick this up. I was testing f-prot before and it wasn't filtering anything. BitDefender was quarantining message three, but not two.
I configured it without any switches beyond --install. Is the perlscanner relevant to catching viruses nowadays?
Thanks,
