Quoting [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

Hi,

I installed on my Gentoo Linux box qmail-scanner 1.16-r2 (spamassassin
2.63, clamav 0.70) and I need a help about deleting spam emails on this
machine (server side).

I'm still receiving to my client machine emails tagged by spamassin
with line X-Spam-Status: Yes . I can not found a relevant line in
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl where I can enable deleting
(or moving somwhere else) of spam tagged emails.

Can somebody help me with this, please?

First, i would update all packages to their latest versions. qmail-scanner is at 1.23, spamassassin is at 2.64 and clamav is at 0.75.1.

As far as deleting spam goes, spamassassin does not do this. It simply detects
and can optionally modify headers/subject to distinguish spam from non spam.

If you want to delete spam server side, there are a couple ways to do this. The
best for your setup i believe is to use the ST patch for qmail-scanner. The
patch for qmail-scanner-1.23 should be out soon (author states 8/15/2004) so
you may wish to wait until then (or just use qmail-scanner 1.22 until then)

Hope this helps,
