Actually, I said only syslog is trusted. Anything else involving logging to
a file would have to invoke file locking mechanisms to be done correctly -
which gets platform-specific real fast...

And before anyone asks, DJB's multilog isn't an option as qmail-queue and
it's friends (like Qmail-Scanner) was *by design* never meant to output
anything - so piping output from that into multilog isn't on either.

syslog is it. As I mentioned last week, I think I'm going to make
"--log-details syslog" the default, and I'd suggest everyone interested in
logging stats look at supporting syslog format - like qs2mrtg.pl already does.
