It's not as fast, some people have had problems on very busy servers (ISP's
and large corp) I've been running it for 2 years on a celeron 850 with
256ram never had any major problems. The avaerage time goes up a bit from
1-3sec fast to 3-8 sec verbose(at least that's what I saw). The biggest
thing to remember is to check your dns check timeouts. The defaults for them
are high, like 60 sec on some.
