Hi All

I am planning to upgrade my qmail-scanner from 1.20 to 1.22st. Now as
far as the scanners variable these are the options I have

# ./configure --spooldir /var/spool/qmailscan --qmaildir /var/qmail
# --bindir /var/qmail/bin --qmail-queue-binar
y /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue --admin root --domain qmail --notify
sender,admin --local-domains qmail --silent-
viruses auto --lang en_GB --debug 1 --unzip 0 --add-dscr-hdrs 0
--archive 0 --redundant no --log-details 0 --lo
g-crypto 0 --fix-mime 1 --scanners "fast_spamassassin=****SPAM****"
--install 1

If you use these options clamdscan won't be configured.

I don't understand why you were using "--domain qmail" in this way the notifications won't be sent unless 'qmail' resolves to localhost, and the sender of the notifications won't resolve out of your own box. If you use '--debug 1' you will have a too verbose log, you can use just minidebug.

And you are using the defaults in most of the options, so as you are installing 1.22st I recomend this options:

./configure --admin root --domain yourdomain.com --notify sender,admin \
--local-domains yourdomain.com --fix-mime 1 --sa-subject "****SPAM****" \
--install 1

Replace "yourdomain.com"... You will get the same configuration except for --debug 1, that I recomend to not enabled it. You will also considere to notify to 'psender, admin' instead of 'sender, admin'
