i'm installing qmail-scanner-1.22 on my deb box; it's running clamav and spamassassin as well. i tried to run configure w/ my options, including --sa-delete 0, and it gave me this output:
This script must be run as root so it can detect problems with setuid perl scripts!
invalid option: --sa-delete
I was definitely running it as root and I have disabled suidperl references in the configure script. however, when I ran it w/o the --sa-delete option, the script exited normally. What is causing the problem w/ --sa-delete option?

Are you using the official version? This optinon is from 1.22st, you can find it at:
